Thomson Roddick Scottish Auctions endeavour to make buying at auction a fun and enjoyable experience. Admission is free and catering facilities are generally available on sale days.
The salerooms are open for viewing prior to the sale and certain sales have evening viewings.
Bidding
Bids can be made in person, by leaving a commission bid or by telephone.
Before bidding prospective purchasers must register with the office and identification will be required from people unknown to the auctioneers. Registration is free, and you will be given a paddle.
Commission forms are available at the front desk, simply fill in your bids, enter your name, address, etc and sign the form. Our staff are always available for advice on estimates or to help you place commission bids.
We are always pleased to offer help and assistance to any of our prospective buyers.
Buyers Premium
In addition to the hammer price, buyers are charged a buyers premium of 15% plus VAT on the hammer price.
Payment
Payment will be accepted by debit or credit cards (subject to an additional charge for credit cards), bank transfers or cash.
Carriers are usually available at the saleroom for deliveries. Delivery by our preferred packers, Mailboxes, can be arranged through the office.
